GetCreateDefinition Method


Indicates whether the object name in the definition should be formatted as [schema].[name]; if false, the object name in definition is left untouched.
Returns a T-SQL definition that can be used to create the object.
Syntax

Parameters

standardizeName
Indicates whether the object name in the definition should be formatted as [schema].[name]; if false, the object name in definition is left untouched.

Return Value

A string that contains the formatted definition.
Remarks
SQL Server supports many variations of the object's name in the definition, such as: By specifying standardizeName = true, the name in the definition is always formatted as [schema].[name].

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
